And then the fun begins . The trouble is; Monty doesn’t know which class to create or primary weapon to choose. The silenced MP5 quickly racked up 150 kills, but at mid to long range it felt like waving a pea shooter in a classroom full of catapults.
Having explored the inner terrorist with a blast on the AK47 and rejected it on the grounds of too much recoil, Monty went for the agricultural hit and hope approach of the M249-SAW replete with fore grip and a shed load of bullets. In tight corners it’s a bit cumbersome, but if the Mont holds down the trigger long enough he tends to hit something eventually.

Eat lead you P*ssy

Having been more than a little surprised by the unquestionable success of Nintendo’s Wii, the Mont can’t help but wonder where the future might lead. It seems that the only element now lacking from the Wii and other consoles' interactive funfest might just be the addition of what Mont is tempted to patent: The Virtual Vulgarity Visualiser

Imagine it now, a small Bluetooth device converting player’s game play taunts into an instant   high- definition visual representation on screen. The device could revolutionise the traditional

I'm BUZZING!!!

Tagged:

No, not from a recent intake of narcotics, but the release of Relentless Software’s ‘Buzz !– Quiz TV’ on the PS3.

The Buzz! franchise remains a BIG hit on the PS2 (probably the last unique thing Sony Playstation own) and its introduction to the PS3 has been a somewhat mixed affair.

Having had many a ‘gang’ around for some Buzz! sessions on the PS2 versions I though I should delve into the pocket and with the final remainder of Christmas credit on my GAME voucher card purchase this beauty.

£50!!!! Poorer I made my way home feeling slightly light headed hoping this has better live up to its name!!

NOTE I would never venture into a GAME store with my own hard earned cash, that’s for a different debate at another time!!

Wireless Buzzers  (4) – This was one of things that sold this to me. Owning two sets of the wired versions these can be a B***H to untangle each time so these Bluetooth beauties are a god-send.
Requiring two AA batteries they have a bit of weight behind them and make it a little more relaxing knowing that a pull on the cable a little too much and the PS3 is on the floor!!!

Wii - Nintendo Channel

Tagged:

If there is a blue light coming out of your Wii today its not because of it supporting Greece in Euro 2008. Well not yet anyway. It’s because the Nintendo Channel was launched today in Europe. This is the channel where you can watch video trailers of Wii and DS games and also play download demos on your DS. The channel allows people to also recommend games to other Wii owners.

I was not able to find any demos to download this morning though. Just a few videos. The ability to play demos is a step in the right direction for Nintendo and i have to admit that the Wii menu is starting to fill up with some useful channels.

LostWinds - verdict

Tagged:

I must be getting old. The length of the game, according to video game sites, is between 2 to 4 hours. I finished the game in 4 hours and 2 mins. But i have two excuses for this. One of a more personal issue while the other an issue i had with the game.

Just a very quick post. I bought, downloaded and played an hour and a half of LostWinds on WiiWare. First of all let me just correct a mistake i made in my earlier post. Not all WiiWare games cost 500 points. Specifically, LostWinds costs 1000 points which is GBP7 or Euro8.79.
